Analysis
When you say something is not your thing , not your bag or not your cup of tea, it is a polite, informal way of saying it is something you are not interested in or excited by.
当你说某事是not your thing、not your bag或not your cup of tea时，这是一种礼貌的、非正式的方式，表示你对某事不感兴趣或不感兴趣。
“I like going to the cinema but action films are not my thing/ bag/ cup of tea, I prefer comedies.”
我喜欢看电影，但是动作片不是我的菜，我更喜欢喜剧片。
If something is not your thing, not your bag or not your cup of tea it means you dont like it. These are useful expressions for saying you dislike something without insulting someone who does like it.
如果某件事是not your thing，not your bag或not your cup of tea，这意味着你不喜欢它。这些表达可以用来表达你不喜欢某件事，且不会侮辱喜欢它的人。

这句话是在委婉拒绝别人时非常好用的一句说辞，got a thing是有事情，通常是小事情，但又必须要走，而且可以在thing前面加你要去忙的事，比如说got a social thing”要去社交的事”或者got an event thing”要去活动的事”，让你的婉拒理由变得更加的充分。
如：
①I cant come to your birthday party. Ive got a thing tonight.
